530 cannabis plants that were cultivated in the village of Bardhore are poisoned.
According to the police, the water biller Idriz Boci, suspected of being involved in the cultivation of narcotic plants and abuse of office, was arrested.
"In implementation of the measures defined in the national operational plan "Clean Territory", for the prevention, identification and attack of the criminal activity of the cultivation of narcotic plants, the services of the Kavajë Police Station have intensified field controls, based on police intelligence .
As a result of the controls, in the village of Bardhore, 530 cannabis sativa narcotic plants were found cultivated, which were destroyed by burning. From the field control, it was found that the narcotic plants were irrigated with a pipe that was illegally connected to the drinking water line.
Following the investigative and procedural actions for this case, citizen Idriz Boci, 61 years old, resident of Rrogozhinë, with the duty of water biller, was arrested, as he did not report on the intervention in the water pipes and is suspected of being an accomplice in the cultivation of narcotic plants.
The work continues for the identification, capture and prosecution of other citizens involved in this criminal activity. The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action," the police announced.
