The fire situation continues to remain difficult in Shengjin. The flames got out of control and spread rapidly due to the strong wind.
Firefighters, emergency and army forces are concentrated in the area called Rana e Vogël, due to the density of tourist facilities and residences located in this area.
Due to the problem and the difficult terrain for extinguishing the flames, an army helicopter was also engaged. Due to the danger and getting out of control of the flames, there were evacuations of residents and vacationers, while the road to Rane i Hedhun was also blocked.
The fight against the fire continues without interruption as the houses are also at risk, while the smoke has covered most of the beach towards Rana i Hedhun.
The fire is progressing towards the protected area of Rana se Hedhun and only a greater intervention from the air would help to reduce their intensity and would give civil emergencies the opportunity to get closer to the heart of the fire.
