A serious road accident was recorded on the evening of this Thursday, April 23, on the Kavajë-Rrogozhinë axis, where a pedestrian lost his life after being hit by a vehicle.
According to the police report, the incident occurred at around 20:15, near the Gosa overpass. The vehicle driven by citizen RQ, 39 years old, hit a pedestrian, whose identity has not yet been revealed.
As a result of the injuries sustained, the pedestrian died at the scene. Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle was taken to the police station for further procedural actions.
The investigation team is at the scene and is working to identify the victim, as well as to fully clarify the circumstances and causes of the accident.
