A high-risk road accident was recorded this Monday on the Pogradec-Maliq axis, near the village of Podgorie. A Nissan vehicle, driven by a young man, lost control and ended up in the premises of a gas station, hitting the fuel supply truck.
Fortunately, the collision did not cause any sparks or dangerous leaks that could have led to an explosion, thus avoiding a potentially tragic event with serious consequences.
The driver of the vehicle suffered facial injuries, but his life is out of danger. He was immediately transported to the hospital for medical attention.
Police arrived at the scene and took immediate measures to temporarily block the gas station's activities until the investigation is completed and the area is completely cleaned up.
The investigation team is working to determine the causes of the accident, while it is initially suspected that the driver lost control of the vehicle.
