A serious accident was registered this evening in the city of Durrës, where a vehicle hit a policeman, who is currently in the hospital under the care of doctors.
According to police information, Mariglen Allko was crossing the white lines in front of the Local Police Directorate, when she was hit by the car. Meanwhile, the driver was escorted to the police station for further action.
" At around 18:35, in neighborhood no. 8, in front of the premises of the Durrës Local Police Directorate, the vehicle driven by the citizen AF, hit the citizen MA, a police officer at the Durrës Police Station, who was crossing the white lines for pedestrians.
The police officer, citizen MA is in the hospital, under the care of doctors, meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle, citizen AF, has been accompanied to the Durrës Police Station, for further action.
The investigative group is at the scene and is working to clarify the circumstances of the accident ," the police announced.
