A serious accident occurred yesterday evening in the Lalëzit Bay area. It is learned that two vehicles collided "head-on", resulting in the death of one person and the injury of three others.
According to the police, the incident occurred at around 10:00 p.m. It is reported that a 57-year-old man, who was traveling as a passenger in one of the vehicles involved in the accident, lost his life.
The drivers of both vehicles, as well as another passenger, were injured in the collision and received medical attention at the hospital.
After verifications carried out by the blue uniforms, it turned out that both drivers were driving while intoxicated. The police have made it possible to arrest them, while investigations into the full circumstances of the accident continue.
"Around 22:00, in Lalëzi Bay, two vehicles collided. As a result, a 57-year-old man, who was a passenger in one of the vehicles, lost his life. The drivers of the vehicles and a passenger were also injured. Following procedural actions, the drivers of both vehicles were arrested in flagrante delicto, who were found to be driving while intoxicated," the police announced.
