A serious accident resulting in the death of a pedestrian occurred this afternoon on the Librazhd-Prrenjas national axis, at the place known as "Ura e Spatharit".
According to sources from the scene, citizen Heidije Bajrami, around 65 years old, was hit by a "Toyota" vehicle, driven by citizen Xheladin Omeri.
It is reported that as a result of the violent collision, the elderly woman was seriously injured. She was urgently transported to the Librazhd hospital, but unfortunately she died on the way to the emergency room.
Immediately after the incident, the police arrived at the scene of the accident and launched investigations to fully clarify the circumstances and dynamics of the event.
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle is being questioned by the investigation team.
