A serious accident was recorded this evening on the Lushnjë-Fier highway near the Vajkani area.
It is reported that a person on a bicycle was hit by a vehicle.
The driver of the bicycle, Tafil Qamil Kumanaku, a resident of Vajkan, is being transported by ambulance to Fier Regional Hospital for medical assistance, out of danger to life.
The driver of the vehicle, citizen Aleksandra Shyqyri Muskaj, a resident of Levan Fier, was driving a Range Rover type vehicle when it collided with the bicycle.
The police and the investigative team are at the scene and are working to find out the causes of the accident.

At around 19:10, on the "Kolonjë-Fier" road axis, the citizen AM, 25 years old, while driving the vehicle, hit the cyclist, the citizen TK, 50 years old.
The collision injured the TK citizen, who was transported to the hospital for medical assistance, out of danger to his life.
The investigative group is at the scene and is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident," the police announced.
