The Tirana Anti-Drugs Unit has conducted an operation in several areas of the capital. The operation began at night and continued from midnight until the early hours of the morning.
During this action, 34 security measures were issued. So far, it is learned that 27 people have been arrested for distributing narcotics, while 7 others are wanted.
During the operation, it is learned that 3.4 kilograms of suspected cocaine, 150 doses of suspected heroin, 500 doses of ecstasy, 12 kg of suspected cannabis sativa, 26 mobile phones of various brands and 10 vehicles of various brands were seized.

Following several raids carried out during the first two months of this year, and as a result of the tracking and investigative work carried out in cooperation with the Tirana Prosecutor's Office, the police operation codenamed "Blic 34" has been finalized.
Within the framework of this operation, the execution of personal security measures "Arrest in Prison" ordered by the First Instance Prosecutor's Office of General Jurisdiction of Tirana was carried out in implementation of the decision of the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Tirana, which has issued 34 security measures "Arrest in Prison", as suspects for the criminal offense "Production and sale of narcotics", provided for by article 283/2 of the Criminal Code, for a group of persons who were engaged in the criminal activity of distributing narcotics Cocaine, Heroin, Ecstasy and Cannabis Sativa, in different areas of the city of Tirana.
The investigations have lasted since the beginning of 2025, where special investigation methods have been applied and the criminal activity of distributing narcotics in various areas of Tirana has been documented.
During the operation, the security measures "Arrest in Prison" were executed for 27 citizens, while work continues to arrest 7 others as they were not found in the apartment during the operation.

During this proceeding, at various stages the following items were seized as material evidence:
• 3.4 kilograms of suspected cocaine.

The investigative actions show that these citizens distributed narcotics in neighborhoods, bars and near schools in the city of Tirana.
These citizens acted individually and dispersed throughout the territory of Tirana. During the operation, special investigation methods made it possible to secure evidence and legally document the criminal activities carried out by these citizens.
We have completed all procedural actions and the materials will be forwarded to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction of Tirana, for further investigative actions for the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics", committed in collaboration, as provided for by Article 283/2 of the Criminal Code.
The structures of the Tirana Local Police Directorate are maximally committed to preventing and cracking down on this criminal activity that directly affects the lives and health of young people.
At the same time, the structures of the Tirana Local Police Directorate have focused on fulfilling the main priority of increasing the parameters of order and security, and in this context, during three weeks of February, 8 firearms (7 pistols and one model 56 automatic), 6 hunting guns and 3 sporting weapons were seized.
Also a priority in the work of the structures of the Tirana Local Police Directorate is the dynamic monitoring of the addressed issues and conflicts with the aim of preventing their escalation.
