RENEA forces have landed at Safet Bajri's apartment and are expected to escort him for questioning by the police.
The police conducted a blitz in the city of Shkodra in the early hours of this morning.
The police action is said to have started around 05:30 and is suspected to be related to the Dobraç massacre.

We recall that in the massacre in Dobraç on October 30, four people lost their lives, among them two innocent citizens, the couple Flutura and Bashkim Basha.
Izmir Sakicaj and Samuel Troshani, two of the suspects in connection with the assassination, are in the Reç prison, and will be notified of a new measure for the Dobraç massacre. The two young men surrendered to the police for another criminal offense they were accused of. Meanwhile, the other two suspects have not yet been found.
The Shkodra Prosecution Office has declared incompetence, transferring the file to the Special Prosecution Office (SPAK), due to suspicions that the incident was committed by a structured criminal group.
After the incident, a burned-out car was found in the Grudë e Re area, which had two automatic weapons inside that are believed to have been used in the attack.
Suspicions were raised even more after another person who escaped the assassination attempt was found in the victims' car. It is believed that this is Ibrahim Lici, the wanted man for the murder of Endri Mustafa, but this has not yet been confirmed.
What happened on October 30th in Shkodra?
Hamza Lici, 23, Arlind Bushati, 32, and Flutura Basha were killed after a well-organized mafia assassination, which took place in the Dobraç area. Bashkim Basha, Flutura's partner, was injured and taken to hospital in serious condition, where he died a few days later.
It is suspected that 4 perpetrators participated in the assassination. According to police sources, there were 3 people in the Land Rover car that was found burned in the village of Golem, just 5 kilometers from the site of the assassination, the driver and two shooters who fired Kalashnikovs. While the fourth person waited for them in the area where the vehicle was burned, helping them to leave.
Two automatic rifles were found inside the burnt-out car, which are suspected to have been used in the attack. The investigation team strongly suspects that the perpetrators are hired killers from Montenegro.
On the other hand, three pistols were found in the car in which the victims Lici and Bushati were traveling. So far, the police have determined and managed to discover that the Range Rover car used in the assassination was stolen in Durrës some time ago.
Investigators have seized more than 35 shell casings at the scene. Investigators are analyzing security cameras, but are encountering difficulties as there are not many cameras in the area, or even those that are do not have a server to store the footage. Some of them are encrypted and have been taken to a laboratory for examination.
Over 20 people, including Safet Bajri and other family members, were taken to the Shkodra police station for the serious incident. The latter stayed at the police station for about 2 hours and is reported to have denied any connection to the assassination, stating that he was in the apartment with his family. According to him, the house is monitored by cameras and this fact is confirmed.
So far, the main track that investigators have focused on is that of revenge due to the long-standing conflict between the Lici and Bajri families. Hamza Lici is the brother of Ibrahim Lici, one of the most wanted persons in Albanian justice.
