Two doctors of the Korca hospital are under investigation after the family members of a 61-year-old woman filed a criminal complaint for medical negligence.
It is learned that the death of the 61-year-old woman occurred on August 14, 2024. It is initially suspected that the patient died as a result of cardiac arrest.
"From the Korçë Police Station, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office for assessment for citizens AD and GR, both doctors in the Korçë hospital, as: The relatives of a 61-year-old woman who died on 14.08.2024, it is initially suspected as a result of cardiac arrest, have filed a report as they claim that the doctors have shown negligence in the medical treatment of the 61-year-old woman", announced the police of Korça.
