
Two people have been arrested in Fier, as part of the police mega-operation coded "Rule of Law".
They are suspected of belonging to a drug distribution group in the county, but are also being verified for other criminal precedents.
The local police announced today (August 16) that they have finalized the coded operation "Rule of Law", after reports that two young men were in possession of weapons and drugs and were traveling on the Pojan-Dërmenas axis.
It was the Anti-Drug agents and the Patrols who chased and handcuffed them. The detainees are Patrik Ferko, who also carried the identity Pëllumb Xhafa, 49 years old, and Ersi Hoxhaj, 20 years old, both residents of the village of Dërmenas.
During the intervention, the firearm, pistol, 170 cartridges of different calibers, dozens of doses of cannabis sativa, 2 mobile phones and the vehicle were seized.
The charges of "production and sale of narcotics" and "unlicensed possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition" were brought against the young people, carried out in collaboration, while the file was handed over to the local prosecutor's office.
