A 33-year-old man has been arrested by police in Tirana, suspected of being the perpetrator of six vehicle thefts that occurred over the last two months in the capital.
The arrested man is suspected of stealing motorcycles, dismantling them into parts and then selling them. During a search of his apartment, police found and seized various motorcycle parts, suspected to belong to stolen vehicles.
As part of the same investigation, a 39-year-old man was also prosecuted, who is suspected of having appropriated motorcycles and their parts, knowing that they were stolen.
"During this operation, 6 cases of vehicle theft were uncovered, occurring over the last 2 months.

A 39-year-old man has also been criminally prosecuted, as he is suspected of having appropriated stolen motorcycles and motorcycle parts from the arrested person.
"Work continues to uncover and document other thefts that may have been committed by the 33-year-old. The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further action," the police announced.
