A serious incident was reported today from Pogradec, where a 70-year-old man is suspected of abusing a minor.
The serious incident was discovered when the 12-year-old girl, after a visit to the hospital, turned out to be pregnant, around 22 weeks.
According to preliminary information, it is suspected that the minor was forcibly sexually abused by Rushan Selko, who appears to have taken advantage of the family acquaintance he had with the 12-year-old's family.
The case was identified after the girl had physical changes, which forced her parents to take her to the hospital for examination.
It is learned that the 70-year-old man repeatedly threatened the minor not to tell the incident, while the police arrested the latter.
Investigative actions are currently being carried out and family members are being questioned, while the girl has admitted to the incident in the presence of a psychologist.
