A serious incident was recorded this evening in Elbasan, where a person was found almost completely burned in an environment adapted as an apartment, on the first floor of a building. The circumstances of this incident still remain unclear.
The fire service intervened after residents of the building reported the smell of burning and smoke. The firefighters forced open the shutters of the building, where they found a male person in serious condition, almost burned and in a coma.
Meanwhile, for about an hour, electricity was cut off in part of the residential block in the "5 Maj" neighborhood, as a safety measure.
Preliminary information suggests that the person may have accidentally come into contact with electricity, but authorities are not ruling out the possibility of a suicide attempt. Meanwhile, the Police have launched investigations to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident.
