Members of international organized crime, 2 Albanians arrested in Malta

Two Albanians have been arrested by police in connection with a series of burglaries that occurred in private homes, police said on Saturday.

The two men, aged 33 and 46, are suspected of being part of an international organised crime group and had fled Malta after the thefts.

Police followed their footsteps and when the two men returned to Malta on a flight that arrived on Friday, they were arrested upon their arrival.

The two people will be charged in court.
