Durrës and Tirana police suspect that the perpetrator is currently hiding in the capital.
Eight people have been arrested in Durrës after Altin Ndoc's escape yesterday.
Citizens A.Ç., DS, SF, PM, FB, A.Ç., VU have been arrested.
Among those arrested are the head nurse and the deputy chief of police.
The incident occurred yesterday afternoon when Altin Ndoci, accused of a series of serious criminal offenses, including murder and participation in a criminal organization, escaped while being accompanied for a medical visit to the Durrës hospital.
Altin Ndoci is being tried for a number of serious criminal offenses and in various files. He was most recently sent for trial by SPAK in October 2025, as part of the criminal organization for which the Çopja brothers are accused.
How did the escape happen?
Ndoci was arrested as part of Operation "Golden Bullet" and is considered a person of high social risk, as he is accused of having participated in the Bradashesh massacre, where three people were killed.
Ndoci lied to the police officer guarding him, saying he wanted to go to the bathroom and managed to escape. When he saw him leaving, the officer fired into the air but failed to stop him.
After escaping from the hospital, the arrested person was waiting in the parking lot for an “Audi A7”, in which he managed to leave the hospital. The license plates of the “Audi A7” vehicle turned out to be reported stolen a few days ago. The perpetrators who helped Ndoc’s escape planned the plan in detail, so that no one would suspect, since the model of the car whose license plates were stolen and the car that was used for the escape are the same model, “Audi A7”.
Durrës and Tirana police suspect that the perpetrator is currently hiding in the capital.
Who is Altin Ndoci?
Altin Ndoci had been in custody since May 2020, arrested by SPAK order for the “Golden Bullet” case.
