Shkodra Police have discovered and destroyed 16,755 narcotic plants and seized 320 kg of cannabis branches with buds in the drying process.
They were found in the areas of Pult, Shala, Postriba, Shosh, Kastrat, Shllak and Temal, while work continues to identify and punish the perpetrators.
During the checks, 15,852 cannabis plants were found and destroyed, and 320 kilograms of branches with buds in the drying process were seized.
In the Kastrat administrative unit of Malësia e Madhe, 429 suspected plants were destroyed, while in Shllak and Temal, in Vau i Dejës, another 474 plants were destroyed.

The services of the Malësi e Madhe Police Commissariat during a search of the grounds of the Kastrat administrative unit found and destroyed 429 suspected Cannabis Sativa plants.
The services of the Vau i Dejës Police Commissariat during a search in the territory of the administrative units of Shllak and Temal found and destroyed 474 suspected Cannabis Sativa plants.
"Work continues to identify, capture and bring to justice the perpetrators of these cases of cultivation of narcotic plants ," the police announced.
