
A serious event shocked Italy this week, where the protagonists were two Albanians. 52-year-old Petrit Gega killed his compatriot Alfons Kola, 33 years old.
The event took place outside the premises of a bar in Calcinato, Brescia, under the eyes of many witnesses.
The author of the murder gave his testimony before the Italian investigators. Gega, who was arrested shortly after the murder, is said to have given his version of the facts, however the Italian media write that the details are reserved.
"It is about a delicate issue", the 52-year-old's lawyer is said to have expressed, without giving further details.
Gega and Kola were both from the village of Kallmet i Vogël in Lezha. Neighbors between them, the families had good relations and the causes of this serious event still remain unclear.
The 52-year-old hit the young man several times with a bread knife and left him bleeding in the middle of the street. The 33-year-old was urgently transported to the hospital, but despite the intervention of doctors, he could not survive his injuries and died.
