The event of a few days ago where a 58-year-old Italian man reported to the Durrës Police that a 20-year-old man tried to rob him, seems to have been clarified further by the testimony of the investigator and has actually taken a different course.
The 20-year-old turns out to be the fiance of the minor who was hanging out with Saverio G. from Italy. The latter claimed that the young man threatened him with a knife and tried to rob his bag of money.
However, 20-year-old Amarildo Dani testified that he had no intention of dealing with the 58-year-old Italian, but demanded an account of what he needed with his fiancee, who is 40 years younger.
"My goal was to take my fiancee and get her away from him," the 20-year-old told the police.
Dani, originally from Bulqiza, is also resident in Italy.
So minor in her testimony at the investigation, she has shown that she was in talks with the 58-year-old Italian to be employed in his company in the neighboring country and that the only reason for the meeting was for work.
In continuation of the examination of the case, the Court of the Judicial District of Durrës declared illegal the arrest in flagrante delicto of the 20-year-old for the charge of "theft with violence" carried out in cooperation, with the claim that the legal conditions and criteria were not met, so based on the charges , the court ordered house arrest for the young man.
