A serious accident happened this morning in Corfu, where a 39-year-old Albanian woman lost her life as a result.
It is reported that the incident happened shortly after 07.00 this morning on the suburban road of Perivoli in the south of Corfu, where for reasons still unclear, the car driven by a 39-year-old Albanian woman left the road and collided with an electric pole. , causing her death.
The vehicle suffered major damages while an EKAB ambulance arrived at the scene, where the rescue teams confirmed the death of the 39-year-old woman, while her identity is still unknown.
The Fire Service performed the operation to extract the woman's body.
A preliminary investigation to clarify the exact circumstances of the road accident is being conducted by the Southern Police Department of Corfu.
