The person you see in the photo is 53-year-old Matthew Wertz from the United States who on Monday evening ended his life by committing suicide after earlier strangling his wife and killing his 2 dogs with a baseball bat.
The couple had moved to Albania for years. For the serious crime, Matthew Wertz, a teacher by profession at a private college in Tirana, had notified the director of the school where he worked, who immediately notified the police.
The latter first found the 53-year-old hanging at the door of the house, then his Indonesian wife and two dogs.
A letter was also found in which the American teacher explained the reasons that led him to the extreme act.
"I'm sorry dad, I couldn't make it. I am doing something for which you will judge me, I am ending the life of the dearest people. "
In addition to the letter, police have also seized Matthew Janes Wertz's previous manuscripts, as well as other manuscripts that were found at the private school where he taught.
A mobile phone, four computers, a baseball bat, a sum of money in Albanian lek and foreign currency were also seized, as well as a vehicle, which were taken for examination. /Clan
