The State Police has extended the investigation into the murder of Kristian Marku, alias Kristi Bardhi, an event that occurred on January 13 on the Fier-Vlora highway, to abroad.
The investigative group has requested information from Interpol about persons suspected of being involved in this murder.
One of the countries that is working with to identify the perpetrators of this serious crime, or persons who may be involved, is Kosovo, where intensive work is being done.
Police suspect that the perpetrators of this murder have managed to leave the country.
As for the perpetrators, the investigation group suspects that there were two vehicles that started pursuing Kristian Marku, one that served to execute the 30-year-old, and was then burned, while a second vehicle is suspected by investigators to have been moving from Fier to Vlora and picked up the executioners after they burned the car.
Investigators suspect that the pursuit of Kristian Mark's car began near the Levan roundabout, and was later executed near the Novosele underpass.
The victim left Tirana on the night of the incident, in a car he had rented, which raises suspicions among the investigation team that his movements were also being monitored in the capital.
