New details have emerged after the serious incident that occurred in Balldren, where the parents of 4 children were killed with over 30 Kalashnikov bullets, leading to a situation that could escalate the conflict between two tribes, the Mhillaj and Mujeci in Lezha.
One of the three participants in this murder turned out to be a wanted man. Although wanted, he had enough time and calm to organize and carry out the double murder.
As journalist Elton Qyno learns, Adriano Mhillaj, the 22-year-old wanted for the double murder of Gentiana and Kreshnik Mujeci in Balldren, Lezha, had also been wanted by the Shkodra police since January 2026.
Mhillaj has been wanted since January 16, 2026, after the Shkodra prosecution filed charges of "Threat with a weapon" against Eduard Kësalla and "Unlicensed Possession of Firearms".
The incident was recorded in the area called "Krzyqëzim i Vinoteka" in Shkodra, where during a conflict for weak motives, Adriano Mhillaj "Threatened with a firearm" citizen Eduard Kësalla.
Due to this conflict, Kësalla pulled out his gun and shot at Mhillaj and other people. As a result of these actions, the Shkodra prosecutor's office declared Eduard Kësalla wanted on charges of "Attempted Murder" and "Unlicensed Possession of Weapons".
After 3 months of being wanted, Kësalla was captured 3 weeks ago by the State Police, in the "Fresku" area of Tirana, during the operation codenamed "Operacionalja 89".
While Adriano Mhillaj, although he was wanted by decision of the Shkodra Court, was not located and was arrested by the State Police.
During these 3 months, Mhillaj, even though he was wanted, had the opportunity to organize together with his two cousins, Renato Mhillaj and Florin Mhillaj, to carry out the murder of Kreshnik Mujeci, and together with him they also killed his wife, Gentiana Mujeci.
The murder occurred as a sign of blood feud after Mujeci is suspected of being involved in 2016, along with his brother and cousin, in the murder of Genc Mhillaj, the father of the person now wanted, Renato Mhillaj, and the uncle of Adriano and Florin Mhillaj./ Syri.net
