Two Chinese citizens have been arrested by Tirana Police, suspected of practicing prostitution in a rented apartment in the capital.
According to the official announcement, the services of Police Commissariat No. 3, in cooperation with the Tirana Prosecutor's Office, finalized the operation codenamed "Nest 6", following information provided about this illegal activity.
Citizens HW, 40 years old, and K. Sh., 38 years old, were arrested, suspected of practicing prostitution in an apartment on "Myslym Shyri" street.
Authorities also announced that criminal proceedings have been initiated against three other citizens, suspected of benefiting from this activity.
"The services of the Police Commissariat No. 3, based on information obtained about a prostitution case, have organized and finalized, under the direction of the Tirana Prosecutor's Office, the police operation codenamed "Nest 6". As part of the operation, Chinese citizens HW, 40 years old, and K. Sh., 38 years old, were arrested, after investigations revealed that they were practicing prostitution in an apartment they had rented, on "Mysylm Shyri" street. Criminal proceedings were also initiated against 3 citizens, beneficiaries of this activity." - the police announced.
The procedural materials have been referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action.
