A prostitution ring was discovered by police in Durrës, leading to the arrest of the Colombian organizer and two other girls, also from Colombia.

The police announced that three other people were also prosecuted at large for the criminal offense of "Prostitution".
As material evidence, three passports of the arrested citizens, a sum of money suspected of being obtained from prostitution, a driver's license and three mobile phones were seized.
" Specialists of the Trafficking Investigation Section, together with the Special Operations Force, finalized the police operation codenamed "Storm 18", followed by special investigation methods for a 1-month period.
As part of the operation, the Colombian citizen ML, 26 years old, was arrested in flagrante delicto.
Also, citizens AG, 33 years old, and BA, 26 years old, both Colombian citizens, were arrested in flagrante delicto for practicing prostitution.
Also, 3 citizens were prosecuted at large for the criminal offense of "Prostitution".
As material evidence, 3 passports of the arrested citizens, a sum of money suspected of being obtained from prostitution, 1 driver's license and 3 cell phones were seized.
The investigative actions carried out revealed that citizen ML, for a month, had rented an apartment in neighborhood no. 1, Durrës, which she had adapted for the purpose of engaging in prostitution by two other Colombian citizens.
"Also, this citizen has also engaged in prostitution activities in this environment."
"The procedural materials were transferred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Durrës," the police announced.
