A 47-year-old man, identified as Ilir Nukaj, was arrested by the police in Fier, after physically assaulting an 80-year-old man and his 77-year-old wife.
According to the police, the incident happened after a conflict, while Ilir Nukaj has a criminal record for crimes against the person.
As a result of the violence, the elderly man is in intubated in the hospital of Fier in a serious state of health, while the 77-year-old wife received treatment and left for the apartment.
The incident took place in the village of Povelçë, outside the grocery store owned by the citizen who was most seriously injured, Namik Rustemi, as for weak motives the author punched him in the head and then his wife, citizen A. Rustemi, 77 years old.
