The Tirana court has left in prison 3 of the 7 people arrested for the drug warehouse that was discovered a few days ago in the Selita area of the capital.
The court set the security measure of "imprisonment" for Erlind Tresa, Asqeri Likaj, the caretaker of the building of the State Cadastre Agency and the citizen Elvis Lala.
They are accused of cultivating cannabis in collaboration, while the person who organized the cultivation of cannabis, 46-year-old Sajmir Karaj, is wanted by the police.
For the 3 employees of OSHEE, accused of abuse of duty and Reshit Tresa who lived near the place where cannabis was cultivated, the court set the measure of "house arrest".
From the investigations, it was found that from the 46-year-old's apartment, which was located about 30 meters away from the building where the cannabis was planted, the water pipes used for watering the narcotic plants were connected through a tunnel.
The investigation has revealed that through the electricity line that supplied the first floor of the building, where the offices of the State Cadastre Agency are, an illegal intervention was made to supply electricity to the area where 193 potted cannabis roots were found. they had reached a height of 90 to 120 cm. Meanwhile, about 100 other plants were seized in the process of drying.
