The Minister of Health, Albana Koçiu, has reacted to the serious incident that took place on Saturday afternoon in Korça, where 45-year-old Bledar Trëndafili poured gasoline and then set fire to his wife, who was in the process of divorcing.
Through a post on the "Instagram" social network, Koçiu says that the doctors of the Burn-Plastic service at QSUNT are doing the best possible for Melissa.
She further added that Melisa was attacked by a man who, instead of supporting her, turned into an aggressor, while adding that she supports the institutions so that the 41-year-old is given the maximum punishment.
" The doctors of the Burn-Plastic service at QSUNT are doing the best they can for Melissa, the daughter, the mother of two small children from Korça, who was brutally attacked today by a cowardly "man", who should have been her arms to support her in the growth and education of her children, but today in an insidious manner she decided to return to her aggressor, the mother of his children.
As I encourage the institutions responsible for his arrest and maximum punishment, I am with the family of Melissa. No one should experience such pain. We will stand against violence and support all those women who become victims of these "men" who deserve maximum punishment. This is a battle that no one can win alone, so together we must work hard and do the impossible, to prevent events like today's," Koçiu writes.
