15 people were arrested yesterday in Italy, following the dismantling of conversations on the “Sky ECC” platform. The operation was carried out at the request of the Anti-Mafia District Directorate of the Bologna Prosecutor’s Office, leading to the arrest of 15 people accused of drug trafficking from Albania, Kosovo, Ecuador, Colombia and the Netherlands.
The trafficked quantity includes 23 kilograms of cocaine, 6 kilograms of heroin, 80 kilograms of hashish and 240 kilograms of marijuana, with a total value of around 8 million euros.
Italian media have recently revealed the names of the arrested individuals. They are: Xhemali Desari, Avni Dushku, Fabjol Dushku, Rigers Kusi, Sokol Lumi, Bashkim Sula, Salvatore Gaetano, Antonio Modafferi, Daniel Palladino and Cesare Castellani. Julian Nikolla, Armand Pepa and Tureldi Tafa have been placed under house arrest.
Daniele Gatta turns out to be the son-in-law of Fabrizio Piscitelli, known as "Diabolik", the Lazio ultras and Roman drug traffic boss killed in an ambush on August 7, 2019. According to what emerged from the coded conversations discovered by investigators, the husband of Piscitelli's daughter, who boasts a strong connection with one of the most prominent leaders in Rome, would have wanted to invest five million euros with a group of Italians and Albanians to import drugs from abroad.
