A 39-year-old man from the village of Mëmëlisht in Pogradec was found dead by his family. Preliminary police investigations suggest that the 39-year-old committed suicide.
"Around 15:20, in the village of Mëmëlisht, citizen T. Xh., 39 years old, was found by his family, without signs of life, in the yard of his apartment, and is suspected of having hanged himself."
No signs of violence were found from the external examination of the body.
"The investigation team is working to clarify the circumstances of the incident," the police statement said.
