A 52-year-old man has been arrested by Tirana Police, after being accused of stealing 1,000,000 lek and items worth 20,000 euros from the safe of an apartment on "Musa Agolli" Street.
It is learned that Pashk Zefi has been arrested. Meanwhile, a search has been launched for the citizen who drove the 52-year-old away from the scene in a vehicle.
Police inform that the 2 accomplices kept the area under surveillance and entered the apartment, when there were no residents there. The theft occurred on 24.10.2025.
"Tirana/The police operation codenamed "Guardians" is finalized. The 52-year-old man who stole 1,000,000 lek and items worth 20,000 euros from the safe of an apartment on "Musa Agolli" Street is identified, located and arrested.
A search is underway for the citizen who drove the 52-year-old man away from the scene in a vehicle.
The 2 associates kept the area under surveillance and entered the apartment when there were no residents there.
2 vehicles, 1 cell phone and 1 licensed firearm, a pistol, were seized during a search of the 52-year-old's apartment.
After a citizen reported that on 24.10.2025, 1,000,000 lek and items worth 20,000 euros were stolen from the safe in her apartment while there were no residents, the services of Police Commissariat No. 4 organized the work to capture the perpetrator(s).
As a result of rapid investigative and operational actions, carried out within the framework of the "Guardians" operation, it was possible to identify the two citizens implicated in this case, specifically PZ, 52 years old, and DB, 56 years old, residents of Tirana. The 52-year-old was placed in handcuffs, while citizen DB was declared wanted.
From these actions, it is suspected that the 2 citizens have been keeping an eye on the apartment on "Musa Agolli" street, where citizen PZ entered to steal, when there were no residents. Meanwhile, citizen DB has removed the 52-year-old from the apartment by vehicle, as the latter is suspected of stealing 1,000,000 lek and items worth 20,000 euros from the safe.
"Searches continue for the capture of citizen DB. Investigations are also ongoing to uncover other thefts that these citizens may have committed. The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action ," the police announced.
