They put him in a bag of concrete blocks, how they tried to disappear the body

New details have emerged about the murder of Miklovan Dakaj in Spain. According to Spanish media, his body was stuffed into a bag of concrete blocks and dumped in a reservoir. Meanwhile, the family was pressured not to search for their son.

On October 14, 2025, the body of a person was discovered inside a bag in the Casasola reservoir, in the area of Almogía, Málaga. The victim was identified as a 31-year-old Albanian man living in Benahavís.

His disappearance had been reported earlier by his partner, while his family members had stated that they had been pressured to stop the search. After several months of investigation, authorities arrested three people suspected of being the perpetrators of the crime.

Initially, the case was treated as a possible involuntary disappearance. Investigators discovered that the young man had gone to a prearranged meeting with the suspects and had boarded a vehicle with two of them, heading to a mountainous area near the reservoir. His body was found five months later by a passerby.

According to the investigation, the victim was killed, tied up and put in a bag before being thrown into the water. Cement blocks were also placed inside the bag to hold the body at the bottom of the reservoir. However, the drop in the water level in the dam made it possible to discover the body, which was in a state of saponification, but was identified thanks to tattoos, according to reports by "Diario Sur".

Authorities were able to identify the victim through a missing person report in Marbella. The only initial lead was the vehicle he had fled in, rented in Barcelona from a woman. Investigations revealed that the suspects had used this car in the days before the crime.

The identification of the woman who rented the vehicle led to the discovery of two suspected perpetrators, two Albanians aged 36 and 45, who were arrested in February and are currently in prison, charged with murder. The woman's relationship to the arrested remains unclear, but authorities suspect that she may also be involved in this incident.

The murder of Miklovan Dakaj:

20-year-old Miklovan Dakaj, who lived on the Costa del Sol, was last seen alive on May 13, 2025. His ex-partner reported his disappearance to the Spanish National Police. From the beginning, investigators suspected a kidnapping linked to organized crime operating in southern Spain.

Months later, in October, a Polish citizen accidentally found a large bag in the Casasola reservoir in Almogía (Malaga). Inside it were the remains of Dakaj's body, tied together, writes "La Razon".

The Malaga Judicial Police Unit has solved the crime. Although the link to drug trafficking has not been officially confirmed, it is suspected that the murder may be the result of a settling of scores.

Although Dakaj's murder was not committed with a gun, it reflects the high level of violence between criminal groups. According to his ex-partner's complaint, on May 12 he was in a restaurant in Puerto Banús. At around 2:30 p.m., he told her that he was going to another restaurant to meet some people who had promised him a job as a bodyguard. After that, he lost all contact.

Over the next two days, his ex-partner noticed that Dakaj's car, a BMW X6, remained parked in the same spot.

The investigation was taken over by the Costa del Sol Organized Crime Section, part of the UDYCO anti-drug unit in Malaga. Through analysis of security cameras, police identified a Peugeot 208 vehicle, rented in Barcelona a few days before the disappearance, which was located at the scene.

The footage links a woman, Marina C., to the main suspect Ilir J., an Albanian citizen, as well as a third suspect, Indrit G. The cameras show that Dakaj left in this vehicle together with the suspected perpetrators.

Investigators monitored the suspects' phones and conducted field observations. Although part of the route to the reservoir is not fully documented by cameras, the vehicle's signal data places it in the area where the body was found.

By court decision dated March 17, Ilir J. was remanded in prison without parole, while a bail of 25 thousand euros was set for Indrit G.. Investigations continue to fully unravel the incident.
