Full/ Why were Albanians violated in Montenegro? From suspicions to reactions,

A serious incident happened yesterday in Montenegro, where three Albanians were raped by a group of people, for reasons not yet officially clarified.

Klodjan Meaj, Azem Dervishi and Doris Kopaçi are the three Albanians barbarically raped by the group that allegedly consisted of citizens of Serbian origin.

The State Police explained that the three Albanians were raped in Montenegro at around 14:00 yesterday, in the place called "Zelenika", near the city of Herceg Novi.

The official statement explains that the three victims were driving a vehicle with German license plates and were suddenly attacked without any reason by a group of 6 or 7 people, who first hit the vehicle and then physically attacked the young people. , causing physical damage to different parts of the body.

The three young men then presented themselves to the local police for help and were first treated by the forensic doctor, where serious injuries were found on their bodies. They were asked by the Montenegrin police to file a report, but being afraid, they refused to do so until the arrival of an Albanian lawyer.

Klodian Meaj, one of the young people who was a victim of violence, said after the serious incident that the car in which the young people were traveling had an Albanian flag, more specifically in the mirror of the vehicle.

According to him, that very flag may have been the cause of the violence by the suspected Serbian group.

"We got off the ferry and took our car. We followed the road without problems to the town of Herceg Novi in Montenegro. We stopped there for a moment because we had a problem with the car. As soon as we stopped, a group of people came and hit the vehicle they were in. We went outside because we didn't understand what was happening and they also hit us, physically abusing us for no reason and without any reason. We were communicating in very low voices inside the car and there was no reason, no provocation on our part. As soon as we got out of the car, they also hit us and then left.

In my vehicle, I have an Albanian flag in the mirror, it's a small flag. I don't know if this is the reason since the vehicle has German and not Albanian license plates", he confessed.

On the other hand, the family members of the young Doris Kopaçi have shown that their son was on his way to work in Germany, but on the way he fell prey to a serious incident.

They said that their son was in the back seat of the vehicle when the incident happened and refused to get out of the vehicle when the aggressors approached the car.

Neës24 learned later that Kopaçi himself has shown that neither he nor his friends provoked the aggressors and that the latter went to the vehicle and violated them without reason.

He adds that they were hit with hard objects on the head and body, while the young people themselves, according to Kopac, did not respond to the attack of the aggressors.

After the serious event, there have been reactions from the officials of Montenegro and Albania.

The Minister of the Interior Taulant Balla was reported that immediately after the serious event he started contacts with his counterparts in Montenegro to get information on the case.

"I am grateful for the immediate reaction of the authorities and the Police of Montenegro regarding the violence against three young Albanians in the area of Herceg Novi. A full investigation is being carried out and the perpetrators will be held responsible", said Balla on the social network X during the evening.
