One of the co-owners of this hotel has fallen from his terrace under still unclear circumstances.
A serious incident occurred in Gjirokastra, where a 60-year-old man lost his life after falling from the terrace of a hotel where he was a co-owner.
The incident occurred at the Olympic Hotel, at kilometer 2 on the Gjirokastër-Tepelena axis.
According to preliminary information, Krenar Stroka, one of the co-owners of this hotel, fell from his terrace under still unclear circumstances. He was on the terrace and then fell vertically from a height of almost 15 meters.
An ambulance immediately arrived at the scene and transported the injured man to the hospital in critical condition. Despite medical assistance, the 60-year-old man could not survive his injuries.
Meanwhile, the investigation group has begun work to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident and determine the causes of this accident.
"Around 10:45, in the "Virua" neighborhood, it is suspected that citizen KS, 60 years old, accidentally fell from the terrace of the hotel he owned, and died in hospital. The investigation team is working to clarify and document the circumstances of the case," the police statement said.
