A 42-year-old man was arrested by Tirana Police after stealing money from a store while threatening an employee with a knife. The incident was recorded on April 1, 2026 on "Kongresi i Manastirit" street.
According to the records, the perpetrator took the daily turnover of the business and then left the scene. Police confirm that he has a previous conviction for theft.
During the operation, knives and clothing suspected of being used in the commission of the criminal offense were seized. The arrest was carried out in cooperation with the Durrës Local Police Directorate.

The services of the Police Commissariat No. 4, in continuation of the work to solve the thefts, identify and arrest the perpetrators, organized and finalized the coded operation "Tools", as a result of which, in cooperation with the services of the Durrës DVP, the following wanted citizen was arrested and put in handcuffs:
-B. Sh., 42 years old, resident of Tirana.
This citizen is suspected of having stolen a large amount of money (daily turnover) from a store on 01.04.2026, on "Kongresi i Manastirit" street, threatening the employee with a knife.
Work continues to document other thefts that may have been committed by this citizen.
"The procedural materials were passed to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action," the police announced.
