A serious incident took place in Maminas, where a 40-year-old man lost his life while working in a brick factory.
For the incident, the police have prosecuted the duty officer at the factory.
"Criminal Investigation Specialists of the Shijak Police Station referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where the criminal proceedings were initiated against the ES citizen, 59 years old, resident of Vorë, with duty in charge of a shift in a brick factory, in Maminas, after on 11.04.2024, around at 11:40 p.m., while working in this factory, citizen SB, 40 years old, resident of Vorë, was injured, who died as a result. Work continues to document the circumstances of this case.
The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Durrës, for further action, for the crime "Violation of the rules of protection at work", informs the police.
