
A 59-year-old woman of Albanian origin has died in a hotel in the Oia area of Santorini, Greece. The Albanian woman worked at the hotel and is reported to have lost her life two days ago inside a hotel room.
According to information, the 59-year-old woman was working in accommodation and was fatally injured when a special bed, which was fixed or hung from the wall, came loose and fell forcefully on her head, breaking her neck and leaving her dead on the spot.
Greek media report that emergency medical services immediately went to the scene, but the Albanian woman was found dead.
On the other hand, the authorities have continued to arrest the hotel owner, who is being asked to provide explanations about the security conditions of the premises he manages. However, investigations are continuing to uncover all the causes of the tragic event.
