A serious incident occurred this morning in the capital near the Elbasan road. 25-year-old Merson Ferizaj, a motorcyclist, assaulted a traffic police officer.
It is learned that the police officer asked him to stop, while the 25-year-old refused. The motorcycle driver was not stopped and then raped the police officer.
Following this situation, the police have escorted the driver of the motorcycle, who was an employee of the Military Forces. Meanwhile, the police officer is receiving medical assistance at the Trauma Hospital.
"Around 08:45, on the Elbasan road, it is suspected that citizen MF, about 25 years old, did not obey the order of the Traffic Police officer to stop the motorcycle he was driving, in order to carry out verifications. Also, citizen MF, it is suspected that due to duty, he physically conflicted with the Police officer, who is receiving medical assistance. Citizen MF was accompanied to the Police premises, in order to clarify the circumstances of the case," the police announced.
