Journalist Eni Ferhati revealed details from the testimony of Hygerta Meta before the investigative team, who, together with her two brothers, is accused of killing her father Pëllumb Meta, an event that took place in Shënavlash, Durrës on February 10, 2024.
Invited to the "Uniko" show, he revealed that the plan to kill Pëllumb Meta was hatched by his children in December 2023.
In fact, in one of the versions of Hygerta's testimony, which has been changed several times, the latter said that before her brother Hyseni killed her father, they woke her up because they wanted to see her when they took her life.
"In Hygerta's testimony that is not reflected in the material that we have read together as it corresponds to the material that went to the court for security measures, at one point even in her second statement, where Hygerta renounced the authorship of the murder of the father, she said that Hyseni woke up the father because the victim was in a moment of dozing, because "he wanted and we wanted to see him when we killed him.
These are also very disturbing statements that have stunned the investigative group itself," said the journalist.
He emphasizes that the motive for this serious event must be very strong, but it still remains an enigma, because even the trail of travel for Hygerta is not very reliable for the police.
The police are also verifying the role of the victim's wife, who is required to appear and is being investigated at large, while the 3 children; Hyseni, Hygerta and Amarildo Meta are under security arrest in prison for the murder of their father.
