The program "Në Shënjestre" on News24, today dealt with the case of the murder of the former anti-drug agent in the Elbasan Police, Roland Rexhepi, otherwise known as "Doda".

But apparently this is not always the case.
And there is always a guilt in life that haunts you wherever you go and that you must atone for.
This seems to be the case of the former anti-drug officer in Elbasan, Roland Rexhepi, who was executed in the early hours of the morning on July 22, 2009, as he left his garage, where he had gone to pick up his car, in the neighborhood Volunteer' in Elbasan.
A murder that shocked at that time the city in the navel of Albania, which even without this execution was sufficiently weakened by the clashes of criminal groups, which meanwhile had produced many victims.
Where at the center of all this river of fruitless blood was always the fight for territory, in one of the most influential areas of storage and transit of hard narcotics.
But when it was thought that the murder of 'Doda', as Roland Rexhepi was known in his everyday life in Elbasan, was closed without going to the real perpetrators of this crime and was left only to some perpetrators who have already received the corresponding punishments from justice, a new development, or a dactyloscopic trace found in the van that was used for his murder, seems to have once again cleared the file for the execution of the former head of the anti-drug sector in the Elbasan Police.
A trace that is also an important turning point for the reopening of the investigations, and leading to the prosecution not only of the accomplices in crime, but also of those who financed the murder, but also the true motives why the former anti-drug officer was eliminated.
But what was this trace which has today announced the search for one of the possible perpetrators of the murder, who immediately after learning that it had been discovered, left Albania with his family?

On December 22, 2023, the Dactyloscopy Sector at the Scientific Police Institute, has informed that from examinations with the AFIS/APIS system, it has become possible to identify the papillary traces administered at the scene of the murder of citizen Roland Rexhepi, which occurred on July 22, 2009 in Elbasan.
Specifically, from the four fingerprints marked with the letters A, B, C, G fixed at the scene from the examination of the Renault van without license plate that is related to the murder of the citizen Roland Rexhepi, the two fingerprints found in the marked photo with the letter 'B'. were formed by the index and middle finger of the right hand of the citizen Donald Luan Hoxha. born in 1990.
This discovery would be the right moment for the Prosecution of Elbasan to once again reopen the file frozen for years on the murder of officer Roland Rexhepi.
As well as the signing of the restraining order for Donald Hoxha, as a person who has knowledge or is a direct or indirect participant in the execution of the former narcotics boss in the city.
Hoxha, today at the age of 34, that during the inspection of his apartment, with the aim of arresting him at the beginning of 2024, it turned out that he was not in Albania, this even after the confirmation of his family members.
But he was detained in the British territory with the aim of his extradition, repatriation at the expense of Albanian justice that became possible a few months later.
Investigation File
After the report filed by the Elbasan Local Police Directorate, on January 3, 2024, the prosecutors of the case decided to resume the investigation into the murder of the citizen Roland Rexhepi.
And a few days later they issued an immediate arrest order for the citizen Donald Hoxha, suspected of the crimes of 'Premeditated murder' in collaboration as well as 'Unauthorized possession of combat weapons'
