Two days after the shocking event in Dhërmi, where the receptionist Erald Nevruzi was killed by Gerald Shehu in the hotel where he worked, the police have not yet been able to find the weapon with which the 43-year-old executed the 31-year-old.
Although the shell casing was found a few hours after the receptionist's murder, the weapon from which the bullet came out has not yet been found. Meanwhile, the car with English license plates of the suspected 43-year-old author was found in Saranda and the crime weapon was not found to be inside the vehicle.
Meanwhile, it is learned that the two employees of Hotel Greccia, Daniel Qose and David Larti, who had cooperated with the author under the threat, will appear tomorrow as a security measure in the Court of Vlora.
Also, sources from the police said that documentation has been sent and the extradition to Albania of the author, Gerald Shehut, is expected.
We recall that shortly after midnight, Gerald Shehu shot the 31-year-old receptionist, Eraldo Novruzi, with two pistol bullets on the stairs of the hotel, and dragged the body to the underground floor of the hotel. He then forced two hotel workers, Daniel Qosja and David Larti, to help him undress the corpse, wrap the victim's body in plastic and sheets and transport it in the trunk of the car. The author burned the clothes in the pizza oven and after throwing the body in a ravine in the Gjipe area returned home. He took the bag and left for Greece to the airport of Corfu from where he intended to escape to England, but fell into the hands of the neighboring police.
