
New details emerge from the serious event in Italy, where the 61-year-old Albanian Ilirjan Minaj was stabbed to death while going to the apartment of her daughter from her Italian neighbor.
Ilirjan Minaj was stabbed in the chest by 41-year-old Riccardo Stefani around 23:00 on Friday evening in Bibbiano, Reggio Emilia.
The victim had gone to meet her granddaughter, but was confronted by the perpetrator while climbing the stairs of the building, and a harassment by the 41-year-old towards him initially led to an argument between them.
After the fight, Riccardo Stefani is reported to have entered his apartment, but Ilirjan Minaj, according to the Italian media, hit hard on the door of the author's house, where the latter lived with his mother.
The 41-year-old is reported to have opened the door holding a knife in his hand and hit the Albanian in the chest.
Ilirjan Manaj fell to the ground and lost his life as he could not survive his injuries.
Meanwhile, it is reported that about 30 relatives and friends of the victim, who had gone to the scene to be near the 19-year-old daughter of Ilirjan Minaj and his granddaughter, tried to take the author from the hands of the police.
But the carabinieri managed to manage the situation by rescuing the Italian from the relatives of the 61-year-old. An armored vehicle was searched at the scene, while a "cordon" with the police was established to maintain security. The moment that Riccardo Stefani was escorted by the carabinieri from the entrance of the building towards the armored car, the angry crowds erupted.
They hit the windows of the car trying to climb into the trunk, but the police managed to remove the perpetrator from the scene.
The victim is reported to be from Korça and for several years he had moved with his wife Natasha to Bibbiano, where some of their relatives already lived, and the couple's 19-year-old daughter had also grown up.
