Last night, another video was published from the tragic explosion in Lushnje on March 1, 2024, where a father and son lost their lives and 7 others were injured.
In the video shown in the Opinion studio, the explosion is seen from another angle and from a greater distance, but the impact force was so great that it shook the camera despite the distance.
The explosion took place in a construction site with a metal construction of SP MP Bujar Çela, where an oxygen cylinder exploded during crane lifting, leaving the crane operator and his son dead.
7 other people were injured, including MP Çela, who was at the scene at the time of the explosion.
Technical Safety Engineer, Thoma Melo, explained in detail the cause of the massive explosion. The gas cylinder did not explode, but the pipes were cracked and caught fire immediately.

Thoma Melo: The bomb did not explode when it fell, the cables were broken. So it has two rubber tubes that take the oxygen, combine it with the hydrogen and take it to the welding can.
Blendi Fevziu: Those pipes have been disconnected.
Thoma Melo: Those pipes could be so old, they were not maintained, they didn't withstand the pressure, they cracked and caught fire immediately and that took out the canister, threw the canister away and fell with an explosion from above- down, continued.
Meanwhile, from the police investigations into the investigation of the explosion that happened on Friday in Lushnja and that took the lives of 2 people, a father and a son, and that injured 7 others, until this stage it does not appear that it came from contact with the high voltage line although this was originally the main track.
The main track on which the Prosecutor's Office and the Fier Police are focused is that of the explosion due to an accident that occurred during the work process performed by the victim Roland Hoxha for cutting and dismantling some iron profiles using a high-heat flame.
