A 32-year-old man has been arrested by the Vlora Police after being accused of possessing a weapon without a permit.
According to the police, Eris Mara was arrested in the "Lef Sallata" neighborhood, where he was stopped while driving an "Audi" type vehicle.
During the search of the vehicle, police found and seized a pistol firearm, two magazines with 22 live ammunition, a plastic holder with 18 live ammunition, as well as a radio similar to those used by the State Police.
The seized weapons and items were taken as material evidence, while the procedural materials have been referred to the Prosecution. The 32-year-old will be investigated for the criminal offenses "Unauthorized production and possession of weapons and ammunition" and "Unauthorized possession of a uniform."

The services of the Vlora Local Police Directorate, in continuation of their work to identify and crack down on cases of illegal possession of weapons, based on information obtained operationally that a citizen was circulating armed in the city of Vlora, organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Security".
As a result of the operation, in the "Lef Sallata" neighborhood, citizen EM, 32 years old, resident of the village of Peshkëpi, was caught and arrested in flagrante delicto.
During the search of the Audi vehicle in which he was driving, the Police services found and seized, as material evidence, a pistol firearm, 2 magazines with 22 live ammunition, a plastic holder with 18 live ammunition, as well as a radio similar to those used by the State Police.
The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecution Office for further action, for the criminal offenses "Unauthorized production and possession of combat weapons and ammunition" and "Unlawful possession of uniform", the police announced.
