The police of Saranda have discovered a part of a human body near the village of Xarrë in Konispol Municipality.
It was previously reported that the body part was buried, but not decomposed.
The police are at the scene and investigations are underway.
The body part has been sent to the city morgue, awaiting forensic expertise from specialists who are expected to arrive from Tirana the next day in Saranda.
