A 50-year-old Chinese citizen has been handcuffed by the Chinese police, as he is charged with the criminal offense of exploitation of prostitution.
It is learned that two more are wanted, a 47-year-old organizer of the group and a 45-year-old woman who played the role of manager.
According to the information, the criminal proceedings have started for 7 Chinese citizens who practiced prostitution and were recruited by the organizers.
The investigations showed that this criminal group was represented in Albania by the arrested 50-year-old man, who was in charge of the management and financial control of the Chinese citizens engaged in criminal activity.
The amount of money profited from this criminal activity, this citizen sent to the 45-year-old manager, who lives in Bahrain, who divided the money, 25% of the profit was taken for himself, 35% was taken by the group that ran the criminal activity from Vietnam and 40% took the recruited girls, as salary, to the bank.

A structured criminal group that recruited citizens from China and brought them to Albania, to exploit them for prostitution, was hit.

Specialists of the Illegal Traffic Investigation Sector of the Durres Local Police Directorate, after a month-long investigation with proactive methods, in cooperation with the Durres Prosecutor's Office, for the criminal offenses "Exploitation of prostitution" and "Prostitution", finalized the coded police operation " Storm", which took place in neighborhood no. 13, Plazh, Durrës.
Within this operation:
-the flagrant arrest of the GL citizen, 50 years old, born in China, suspected of committing the criminal offense "Exploitation of prostitution";
-criminal proceedings have been initiated against 7 citizens from China, for the criminal offense of "Prostitution";
- the Chinese citizen GL, 47 years old, one of the organizers of the group, and the Chinese citizen Y. Zh., 45 years old, manager of the group, were declared wanted for the criminal offense "Trafficking in human beings".
The investigative actions showed that Chinese citizens were recruited by a structured criminal group, part of which are Chinese citizens GL and Y. Zh., born and living in China.
These citizens, in cooperation with some other citizens in Vietnam, still unidentified, after recruiting Chinese citizens in China, sent them to carry out the criminal activity of prostitution in Albania, where they provided apartments and cars for rent to carry out this activity.
The investigations showed that this criminal group was represented in Albania, by the GL citizen, who did the management and financial control of the Chinese citizens who carried out criminal activity in Albania. The amount of money obtained from this criminal activity, this citizen sent to the citizen Y. Zh., who lives in Bahrain, who divided the money, 25% of the profit was taken for himself, 35% was taken by the group that led the activity criminal from Vietnam and 40% took the recruited girls, as salary, to the bank.
As material evidence, sums of money obtained from prostitution, 13 mobile phones, 1 laptop, 1 notebook with notes on the obtained monetary values and other items were seized.
The procedural materials were handed over to the Prosecutor's Office for further action," the police announced.
