The police in Tirana have arrested a Russian and a Ukrainian woman for using foreign girls for prostitution. The tutors advertised foreign girls on the website "Escort Tirana" and then transferred the sums of money profited from this illegal activity to the organizers of this website.
The two arrested women were caught in the act while receiving sums of money from the girls who used them for prostitution.
The police informs that the criminal proceedings have started for 11 foreign citizens, for practicing prostitution.

Specialists of the Section for the Investigation of Illegal Traffic, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana, following successive operations to crack down on illegalities in the field of practicing and exploiting prostitution, have registered a criminal proceeding. of 2023 and have organized and finalized the coded police operation "Escort".
As part of this operation, the Ukrainian citizen AT, 27 years old, and the Russian citizen EM, 37 years old, both residents of Tirana, were arrested in the act for the criminal offenses of "Prostitution", "Exploiting prostitution" and "Maintaining premises for prostitution". .
These two citizens were caught red-handed on "Naim Frashëri" street, taking sums of money from foreign citizens, which they allegedly used for prostitution.
During the verifications carried out, it was found that these citizens collected the sums of money obtained from foreign citizens who were suspected of using them for prostitution, which were advertised on the page "Escort Tirana", and then transferred these sums of money to the organizers of this page. still unidentified citizens.
Following the actions, criminal proceedings were initiated against 11 foreign citizens for practicing prostitution.
Earlier, during the investigations carried out in the framework of this criminal proceeding, the coded police operation "Foreing" was finalized.
The materials were handed over to the Prosecutor's Office," the police announced.
