
A 34-year-old Albanian man was arrested by the Greek police, after being accused of hitting a 40-year-old man with a hammer in Thessaloniki.
The 34-year-old is being processed for serious injuries, while the patient is in the hospital, out of danger for life.
The 61-year-old father-in-law of the accused is also wanted for the same case.
Everything happened yesterday morning, outside a pizzeria, where the two parties involved seem to have been busy earlier.
For weak motives, the 61-year-old argued with the 40-year-old and when he was leaving the store, he grabbed him by the arm.
While they were fighting physically, the 34-year-old man intervened and hit the 40-year-old man three times on the head with a hammer.
The 34-year-old was immediately arrested, while the father-in-law escaped.
