Three people have fallen into the handcuffs of the police in Belsh, after stealing 40 million lek from several apartments.
The blue uniforms indicate that the arrested are: Aleks Kullolli, 22 years old, resident of Belsh, Emiliano Meco, 40 years old and Luan Nezha, 49 years old, both residents of Lushnjë.
It is known that they managed to steal about 4,000,000 new lek and various equipment in the apartments they entered.
"They stole about 4,000,000 new lek and equipment in 3 different apartments, in Belsh, 3 citizens were caught and arrested. The services of the Cërrik Police Station and those of the Belsh Police Station, as a result of the priority and immediate administration of several reports, for theft in apartments, as well as with the support of police intelligence, have organized and finalized the coded police operation "Three ".
As a result of the operation, 3 thefts were revealed for which, in cooperation with the services of the Special Force "Shqiponja" of DVP Elbasan, the citizens were caught and arrested:
AK, 22 years old, living in Belsh, as well as EM, 40 years old and LN, 49 years old, both living in Lushnja.
From the investigative actions, it is suspected that these citizens, in cooperation with each other, are the authors of thefts in 3 different apartments, namely:
- On 14.05.2023, they stole 2,000,000 new lek, in the residence of citizen EI;
- On 07.06.2023, they stole 13,000 euros and 6,000 dollars in the residence of the OB citizen;
-On 01.06.2023, they stole the doors and windows of the YT citizen's apartment. Work continues on documenting other thefts that may have been committed by these citizens. The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Elbasan General Jurisdiction, for further actions," the police announced.
